J.P. Morgan Asset Management appoints Infrastructure Platform Specialist

J.P. Morgan Asset Management - Global Real Assets has appointed Gilly Zimmer as OECD infrastructure platform specialist.

A statement from the firm said Zimmer will be 'responsible for advising institutional investors on infrastructure investing, as well as forging strong client relationships across a global real assets platform with $87 billion in assets under management and leadership positions in infrastructure, maritime/transport and real estate investing.'

Zimmer has more than a decade of experience at investment and advisory firms, including Frontier Advisors, Macquarie Capital and Watson Wyatt (now Towers Watson). Based in New York, he reports to Doug Doughty, global head of business development, Global Real Assets.

Zimmer was previously a senior consultant and head of infrastructure at Frontier Advisors in Melbourne, Australia. He has also worked at Macquarie Capital and prior to his infrastructure career, he worked as a pension consultant and actuary for Watson Wyatt for more than ten years in Melbourne and New York.
