J.P. Morgan AM appoints Key Account Manager for expanded distribution team

J.P. Morgan Asset Management (JPMAM) has appointed Jacqui Crothers to the role of northern region key account manager, based in Sydney, as one of two new appointees to the firm's Australia distribution team.

Crothers, who will report to David Hallifax, head of funds for Australia Asset Management, will be responsible for relationships with independent financial advisors and major financial institutions, and will help to enhance JPMAM's funds business.

Previously, Crothers was a business development manager for Colonial First State Global Asset Management, where she focused on serving financial advisers and dealer groups. Before this, she served in sales and relationship management positions with the Commonwealth Bank of Australia.

She is joined at JPMAM by fellow new recruit, James Matt, who has been appointed as a consultant advisor, reporting to Rachel Farrell, CEO of Australia Asset Management.
