J.P. Morgan AM appoints Consultant Advisor for expanded distribution team

J.P. Morgan Asset Management (JPMAM) has appointed James Matt to the role of consultant advisor, based in Sydney, as one of two new appointees to the firm's Australia distribution team.

Matt, who will report to Rachel Farrell, JPMAM's CEO of Australia Asset Management, will be responsible for relationships with strategic clients including Australian asset consultants and research houses.

Previously, Matt was the regional director of consultant relations at Dimensional Fund Advisors and, before this, was an investment analyst at JANA Investment Advisers.

He is joined at JPMAM by fellow new recruit, Jacqui Crothers, who will serve as key account manager for the northern region, reporting to David Hallifax, head of funds, Australia Asset Management.
