IRESS re-appoints Emily Chen in new senior product role

Financial technology provider IRESS has announced the appointment of Emily Chen in a new senior product executive role.

Chen was previously product manager for XPLAN at IRESS before leaving to join Rubik as head of product - wealth in February 2016.

In a statement, IRESS said of Chen's new role: "Emily will lead a program to significantly enhance XPLAN's user experience, oversee the future direction on client portals and self-directed solutions, and progress the ongoing productisation of IRESS' APIs for client and third-party use."

Chen has more than 15 years' financial services experience and has previously held senior analyst roles at Macquarie, MLC Online and with the advice platforms team at MLC/NAB.

Commenting on her re-appointment Chen said: ""I return to IRESS with a fresh perspective on the challenges facing financial services businesses and how we can continually improve the product and the experience for clients and users. I'm looking forward to continuing to help build IRESS' broad and deep offering for clients and users."
