IRESS names new technology chief

IRESS has confirmed to Industry Moves the appointment of Andrew Todd as the firm's new chief technology officer (CTO), effective January 2017. He succeeds long-term CTO David Walker, who has been appointed to the new role of chief architect with the firm.

Todd was previously chief information officer (CIO) at IOOF Holdings. Before this he was CIO at Australian Wealth Management, prior to its acquisition by IOOF in 2009. He has also held senior roles with Standard & Poor's as head of information technology for the Pacific and worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers and Volkswagon Financial Services in management and business roles.

Commenting on the appointment, IRESS' CEO Andrew Walsh said: "We are delighted Andrew is joining IRESS. With a strong track record in technology and delivery, he is well placed to continue strengthening IRESS' position as a leading supplier of technology to clients in Australia and internationally."
