Platform Strategy Manager departs IOOF

Toby Potter has confirmed to Industry Moves that he has left his role as national manager platform strategy and managed accounts with IOOF, effective 31 October 2016.

Potter joined IOOF in August 2014, as part of the SFG acquisition, where he was the head of platforms.

He moves on from his role with IOOF to pursue a full time role at IMAP ,(the Institute of Managed Accounts Professionals), of which he has been the chair since 2010.

Prior to his time with IOOF, Potter was COO of Investorweb and in 2004 founded Investment Administration Services, now managedaccounts.com.au.

Commenting on his next step, Potter said: "I'm looking forward to IMAP developing a large program of activities for providers, dealers, advisers and investment managers focused on the adoption of managed accounts."
