IOOF appoints Portfolio Manager

IOOF has announced the appointment of Paul Crisci as portfolio manager, Australian equities in the IOOF Investments business, effective 14 August 2017.

He replaces Dan Farmer who recently transitioned to the role of chief investment officer, following the retirement of Stephen Merlicek on 30 June 2017.

Previously, Crisci worked for Funds SA where he managed a portfolio of Australian and international equities with a combined value of over $11 billion for South Australia's public sector superannuation schemes and approved authorities.

Commenting on his appointment at IOOF, Farmer said: "We are delighted Paul is joining the IOOF team. Paul brings more than 17 years' experience managing portfolios and a strong track record of investment performance, which will strengthen IOOF's high-calibre and award-winning investment management team."

A spokesperson for Funds SA has confirmed that a search is underway to recruit Crisci's replacement.
