Invesco RE appoints Acquisitions Analyst

Invesco Real Estate (IRE) has expanded its Australian team with the appointment of Louis O'Loughlin as an acquisitions analyst.

O'Loughlin joins from Barwon Investment Partners where he was responsible for analysis and transaction due diligence. Prior to this, he held various positions within valuation firms, as well as working with Australia's banking regulator, APRA.

In the new role, O'Loughlin will work closely with IRE's Australian acquisitions team, primarily with manager of acquisitions, Tim Meurer and manager of investments, Matt Starr.

Commenting on the appointment, Ian Schilling, director and head of Australian Real Estate, said: "We're delighted that Louis has joined Invesco Real Estate to help manage our growing Australian real estate portfolio."

He added: "Louis' strong background in real estate analysis and transaction due diligence will be invaluable in helping to harness new opportunities arising in the Australian property market."
