Industry veteran departs QIC

Industry veteran, Drew Efimov, has confirmed to Industry Moves his departure from Queensland Investment Corporation (QIC) after 23 years' service.

Efimov first joined QIC as a senior financial analyst in 1995. Over the next 17 years, he worked in various product-related roles including manager of technical support, senior product manager, and then head of product development, where he was responsible for a small team.

In July 2012, he moved into the role of head of mandate and regulatory obligations, and from January 2017 through to his departure in September 2018, he served as QIC's senior manager, external risks and fiduciary obligations.

Efimov told Industry Moves: "I enjoyed many years with QIC in a number of roles and am grateful for the opportunities provided and [the] chance to learn within a very dynamic organisation."

He added: "I look forward to what my next stage may bring."
