IML appoints new Assistant Portfolio Manager

Investors Mutual Limited (IML) has announced the appointment of Marc Whittaker as the firms new assistant portfolio manager.

Whittaker will assist senior portfolio manager, Simon Conn, in the management of smaller company portfolios.

Previously Whittaker spent six years working as a portfolio manager at Milford Asset Management with responsibility for their Australian equity portfolios. Prior to that, he worked for seven years at Lazard Asset Management as a senior industrials analyst.

IML's investment director, Anton Tagliaferro, says that Whittaker is well suited to a career with IML due to his "strong numerate background and excellent portfolio management and research skills."
