IFM Investors has beefed up its risk management by appointing Leah Lovrek as associate director of risk, governance, and reporting.
In her new role at the superannuation funds-backed IFM, Lovrek will support the design, implementation, and operation of IFM's enterprise risk management framework and operating model across all geographies in line with regulatory requirements.
She joins from Hall Advisory where she spent almost four years providing bespoke governance, risk, compliance, and strategic advisory services to small-medium financial services firms.
Before working for the Melbourne-based boutique consulting firm, she worked in claims at MLC Life Insurance. There, she led a team of managers and specialists to deliver the firm's business strategy across the claims department.
Earlier, Lovrek spent five years at National Australia Banking in several roles and five years before that as a business analyst at Plum, the pension solutions provider.
