IFM hires business transformation director

IFM Investors has appointed Abhishek Chhikara as director of business transformation.

Chhikara joins from Right Lane Consulting, where he led the superannuation and institutional investor practice for six years.

Commenting on the appointment, IFM Investors executive director, business transformation David Johnson noted that Chhikara would relocate to London.

"With our focus on continuous improvement and the expansion of our footprint in the northern hemisphere, we are delighted Mr. Chhikara has joined the IFM team to help drive our transformation program for our business operations," he said.

"His appointment adds further strength to our global operations team, who are  building a best-in-class operating platform for private and public market assets."

In a LinkedIn post, Chhikara said he will work in IFM's Melbourne office for the next few weeks while frantically trying to pack up life and relocate to the UK in August.

"This marked the 10th anniversary of my arrival in Australia, and it felt like time to embark on a new adventure in a new country.

Speaking of his role with Right Lane, he said he was "extremely proud" of his contribution to the firm and the success of its work in the superannuation and institutional investor sector.
