IFM appoints new Associate Director

IFM Investors has appointed David Perkis as associate director to the private capital team. In the new role, Perkis will assist in identifying, evaluating and managing private equity portfolio company investments.

Perkis joins from Whitehelm Capital, where he was a senior associate responsible for investment management across listed and unlisted property and infrastructure. Prior to that he worked in investment banking for both Gresham Partners and Citigroup.

Commenting on the appointment, IFM's head of private capital Steve Lipchin said: "With his significant investment industry experience, David will be a great asset to the Private Capital team as we extend and evolve our direct investment platform."
