IFM appoints Global Head of Investor Relations

IFM Investors has appointed Brian Clarke to the newly-created role of global head of investor relations. Clarke was previously executive director, global investor relations for North America.

Commenting on the appointment, Brett Himbury, CEO of IFM Investors said: "Brian has made an excellent contribution to IFM since joining in 2011 and has led our success most particularly in North America, where we now have a large and extremely high quality, aligned investor base. He has over 25 years' experience in the institutional investment sector. His strong networks, product knowledge, practical experience and cultural alignment have been instrumental in building a global collective of likeminded, institutional investors. Brian will continue to bring investor insights as we evolve our products and services to meet the increasingly complex needs of our investors in a challenging economic environment."

He added: "With the continued globalisation of investor portfolios and intense focus on net returns, I believe our evolution to a global investor relations model will enable us to further enhance our contribution to even better investor outcomes."

Clarke will commence in the new role on 1 July 2016.
