IFM Investors expands private capital team

IFM Investors (IFM) has appointed Stuart Wardman-Browne to its private capital team as an executive director, reporting to Steve Lipchin, head of private capital.

In the new role, Wardman-Browne will assist with the raising of funds, sourcing and evaluation of direct investment opportunities, transaction execution, monitoring and management of investments and building and maintaining client and third party relationships.

Prior to joining IFM, he was co-head of Champ Ventures, an Australian private equity GP focussed on mid-market growth investments.

In a statement from IFM, Lipchin said: "IFM Investors has had a long association with Stuart through our Limited Partner investor commitments to several Champ Ventures funds."

He added: "Stuart brings an exceptional investment record, an extensive network, and proven execution capabilities."
