HUB24 sales executive lands at Watershed

Hub24 executive Lydia Pearson has jumped to boutique asset manager boutique Watershed Funds Management to run national distribution.

As head of distribution, Pearson will lead the fund's efforts to promote its capability with financial advisers and licensees.

In the newly created role of distribution head, she will report to Watershed Funds Management managing director Adam Rowley.

For the last three years at HUB24, she ran the Victorial/Tasmania distribution team.

Earlier, Pearson held leadership roles with CommSec Adviser Services and before that worked at Colonial First State for more than 15 years.

As to why Pearson switched firms, Pearson said she had a "fantastic" relationship with the executive and the board as Watershed was on the Hub24 platform.

"So I had the opportunity to get to know the executive team and to understand what they do," she said.

But mostly, she wanted a national role.

At Watershed, she will work closely with the whole business to drive growth.

"It was just a fantastic opportunity to work with a boutique firm where I could play a significant part in its strategic growth," she said.
