Hostplus names Group Executive, Risk and Compliance

Hostplus has confirmed the appointment of Norlena Brouwer, as the fund's group executive, risk and compliance, effective October 2016.

In this newly-created role, Brouwer is responsible for developing, enhancing and implementing an effective risk management framework, leading the risk and compliance team and supporting the board and leadership team on risk management practices and emerging risks.

Brouwer joined Hostplus in 2014, as a risk adviser, following eight years in senior roles across risk, compliance and governance for organisations including Cricket Australia, Bankwest and Property Exchange Australia.
