Advice Revolution has bolstered its senior team by appointing Helen Thom as head of sales.

Thom joins from Morningstar Australia where she served as a sales executive.

She has more than 20 years of experience in the financial advice industry and advice software market, including in roles as general manager of distribution at Midwinter and head of distribution at YTML Group.

Previously, Thom was head of sales at Ignition Advice, iPraxis, and Decimal and held management roles with AMP, AXA, and RetireInvest.

In the new role, she is tasked with driving further growth in a business that is benefitting from a rapidly growing demand for digital fact-finding tools in the advice market,

Commenting on her appointment, Advice Revolution chief executive Shaun Gree said demand for these tools had never been as high.

"We want to remain at the forefront of digitising data collection for the advice industry," he said.

"We are delighted to have someone of Helen's calibre join our team and spearhead the next phase of our growth as we continue on our mission to help more advisers run their business like it's 2022."

On joining Advice Revolution, Thom said she had never worked for a product that has such a positive reaction from advisers and practices.

A 2021 Netwealth report revealed that more than 40 percent of advisers plan on adopting digital fact-finding over the next two years.
