Heffron adds product manager

Kate Sheringham will join SMSF specialist Heffron adding product development expertise to the firm's technical strengths.

As head of product, Sheringham will be responsible for Heffron's traditional administration and actuarial services and its rapidly growing suite of digital products.

She will also join the executive team.

Sheringham comes to Heffron from Kollaborative Solutions, an SMSF consultancy she founded more than four years ago.

Before working as a private consultant, she worked at BT Financial Group for six years as the national manager of SMSF products.

Earlier, Sheringham worked at Class Super as a product manager and AMP as a financial accountant.

Heffron managing director Meg Heffron said the firm is constantly looking for different ways to support its clients, and increasingly, that means supplying digital products.

"In Kate, I think we've found the perfect person to help us achieve our aspirations. The role could have been designed for her, and she was definitely designed for us."
