AMP Capital has confirmed to Industry Moves that its head of global listed real assets, Matthew Hoult, is departing the firm.

Hoult is responsible for developing new listed real assets products for investors including different combinations of listed real assets strategies.

He was appointed to the role in November 2016 following an increase in investor interest around listed real assets. Prior to this, he was AMP Capital's co-head of global listed real estate from 2011.

Hoult commenced in the investment management industry in 1998, working as an equity analyst in the Australian equities teams of two investment firms before specialising in global real estate securities. Prior to joining AMP Capital, he worked at BNP Paribas Asset Management for seven years, the last two and a half years as the firm's chief investment officer of global property.

The date of Hoult's departure has not been made public, though AMP Capital has confirmed that he will not be replaced.
