Colonial First State Global Asset Management (CFSGAM) has announced the pending departure of Marcus Fanning from the role of head of Australian equities growth, effective June 2017.

Fanning has over 30 years' experience working in markets, including a decade at CFSGAM. Prior to that he was managing director, head of equity capital markets with Morgan Stanley, Sydney. He has also been head of Australian equities at BT Financial Group and AMP Henderson Asset Management and previous to that held senior portfolio manager positions at Merrill Lynch Asset Management and Potter Partners.

His successor is current deputy head of Australian equities growth, Dushko Bajic, who commences in the role on 30 December 2016.
