Hamish McLennan appointed Magellan Deputy Chair

Magellan Financial Group (Magellan) has announced the appointment of Hamish McLennan as deputy chair, effective 5 June 2019.

McLennan, who joined the Magellan board in 2016, is a media and marketing executive with over 30 years' experience in the media industry.

Commenting on his appointment, Magellan chair Hamish Douglass said: "Hamish McLennan has extensive experience both in an executive capacity and as a chairman of public companies. Hamish's promotion to deputy chairman will strengthen the governance framework of Magellan."

Magellan has also announced the appointment of Robert Fraser as chair of Magellan Asset Management.
