Group Exec Insurance & Super departs AMP

AMP Limited has announced a series of changes to its senior leadership team including the departure of group executive, insurance, super and risk management, Pauline Blight-Johnston, effective 1 January 2017.

Blight-Johnston was appointed group executive for AMP's newly-created insurance & superannuation division in January 2014 as part of a transformation of the firm's leadership team. Before that she was the firm's director of wealth protection & mature products, having joined AMP in May 2014 from the role of managing director at RGA Reinsurance.

On the recent round of changes, which include several new appointments and three executive departures, AMP chief executive Craig Meller said: "The new group structure delivers sharper focus on performance in the core Australian businesses, drives efficiency across the group and provides increased emphasis on the growth drivers in the portfolio."

He added: "I would like to thank those executives who are leaving the organisation for their contribution to AMP and to the transformation of our core Australian business during the past three years. I wish each of them well for the future."
