Frank Morton, the head of Gordon Brothers international who expanded the firm's presence in Australia, Europe Singapore and South America has been promoted to the role of global investment chief.

In the new role, Morton will leverage the firm's deep asset knowledge and operational expertise to deliver rapid, customised and integrated solutions to clients and partners in over 45 countries.

Morton who joined the global advisory, restructuring and investment firm, in 2005 will also join the board of directors.

Gordon Brothers, which is headquartered in Boston, carries out valuations, dispositions, financing and investment.

It lends against and invests in brands, real estate, inventory, receivables, machinery, equipment and other assets to provide clients liquidity solutions beyond its market-leading disposition and appraisal services.
