Golowenko joins MLC Asset Management

Ex-Clime chief investment officer Anthony Golowenko has joined MLC Asset Management as a portfolio manager in the multi-asset capital markets research team.

Golowenko, who is suing Clime for unfair dismissal, says the challenges over the past year have been extraordinary. "Perhaps THE key takeaway has been the simple reflection 'what are you thankful for?'"

Before joining Clime in 2015, Golowenko spent more than 18 years with State Street Global Advisors, most recently as a portfolio strategist covering the Asia Pacific region.

MLC CIO Jonathan Armitage said that he's pleased to welcome Golowenko to the organisation. "He brings significant investment experience specifically in the areas of domestic and international equities and objective-based strategy development and further strengthens this industry-leading team."

Golowenko joined the organisation in early February.
