Goldman Sachs AM hires from PEP

Goldman Sachs Asset Management has appointed David Grayce as managing director in the growth and corporate equity team.

Based in Sydney, Grayce will work closely with the regional team to lead investment opportunities in Australia and New Zealand.

Reporting to Stephanie Hui, he will work alongside local teams across alternatives investing and build on the success of the firm's platform in the region as it continues to grow its Asia corporate and growth equity business.

Grayce joins from Pacific Equity Partners where he was a managing director for 24 years.

Before that, he worked at Bain Capital for around the same amount of time focused on leveraged buyouts in North America and Europe. 
He started his career with Bain & Company in the United States, South Africa, the United Kingdom and Australia.
