Global Head of Institutional Property departs ANZ for MaxCap Group

MaxCap Group, a manager of commercial real estate (CRE) debt, has announced the appointment of Eddie Law as an investment director, effective May 2018.

In this Sydney-based role, Law will be responsible for the firm's NSW, QLD and ACT markets, and will look after senior relationships with borrowers and corporate, private and institutional investor clients.

Law, who has 30 years' industry experience, was most recently the global head of institutional property at ANZ. Prior to this, he headed up ANZ Business Transition Services and spent four years as global head of leasing & structured finance.

Commenting on his appointment, MaxCap managing director, Wayne Lasky, said: "Eddie has extensive industry experience and a successful track record in the domestic and offshore market. His deep market and asset knowledge and broad institutional network, will be key to our domestic and international expansion."
