Ryan Crewe has joined GAM Investments as the manager of key accounts, looking after the organisation's efforts to expand into the wealth advisory market.
Crewe comes from Pengana Capital where he led the company's business development for NSW and New Zealand. He also has experience with BlackRock, Apt Wealth Partners, and Ferrier Hodgson (now a part of KPMG).
In a statement to Financial Standard, GAM Australia's MD, Alex Zaika, said that Crewe's reputation will be a boon to the company. "[Crewe] has an excellent reputation and has worked with sophisticated advisers who are demanding differentiated, institutional grade solutions."
GAM is in the process of expanding its overseas product offerings in Australia: GAM Systematic Alternative Risk Premia and Insurance Linked Securities.
