After 26 years of continuous service with Future Super and Aon, Jennifer Dean has finally decided to say goodbye to that part of her career.

Dean said one of her main achievements was the recent successful integration of the smartMonday business within the Future Super Group in January 2022.

The retirement specialist said she is taking a genuine break and plans to take at least a month before thinking about the next steps.

"I am looking into a few company ideas, but it is too soon for me to say," she said.

"I am chair of Basketball NSW, so will be doing a bit more hands-on there as well as my basketball coaching.

Dean thanked Future Super's chief executive Simon Sheikh for welcoming her "with open arms" as she moved to integrate the two companies.

Her title was the executive general manager of strategic partnerships.

Here Dean led inorganic growth, new initiatives and products, institutional partnerships, and stakeholder advocacy for the super fund.

She worked at Aon for 25 years, most recently as a retirement and investment partner.

Said Sheikh: "Thank you so much Jenny for sharing your wisdom with us. I know your passion for ensuring great member outcomes will mean you won't be a stranger!

"I'm so grateful you chose to stay with us through the initial integration period. Thank you, and best of luck with all that comes next!"
