Ex-Australian Unity executive general manager of investments Geraldine Barlow-Bolt has joined the Future Super investment committee.
Barlow-Bolt is joined by Karen McLeod on the committee.
Barlow-Bolt has significant international investment experience, having been an investment director for Hastings Funds Management in New York and an assistant VP for Deutsche Asset Management. She spent more than four years at Australian Unity Wealth, departing in September.
Future Super chief Simon Sheikh says that the fund's growth - membership has more than doubled this year - necessitated some changes. "We're bringing in the right people to grow Australia's retirement savings to create a future free from climate change and inequality. Building a world-class team is a key enabler of our growth."
