The Future Fund has hired Navis senior investment director Kelvin Mak as a director in its private equity team.
Mak spent more than a decade with Navis, serving on the executive committee and boards for a number of investee companies including Mainland Poultry, Guardian Early Learning, and Retail Apparel Group clothing brands.
Before joining Navis in 2010, Mak spent several years as an investment banking analyst with Goldman Sachs.
His appointment to the Future Fund private equity team comes along with the confirmation of Sue Brake as chief investment officer after several months in an acting capacity.
