FSC appoints acting AMP Australia CEO to board

Acting AMP Australia CEO Blair Vernon has been appointed to the board of the Financial Services Council.
"Blair has demonstrated strong governance experience across a range of companies and circumstances and these skills are highly regarded by the FSC board," said FSC chair Geoff Lloyd.
Vernon joined MAP in 2009 and has since held several senior roles with the organisation. He was named acting CEO of AMP Australia in August.
