FSC adds Morgan to board

The Financial Services Council has appointed MLC Wealth's acting managing director, Andrew Morgan, to its board.

Morgan was named acting MD in November of last year after joining the firm in 2019 as chief corporate services officer. During his more than 30 years in financial services, Morgan has held roles at CBA, Perpetual, and Lend Lease.

His experiences and accomplishments in industry made him an attractive choice, says FSC chair David Bryant. "Andrew has significant experience across a range of financial areas including wealth management, retail banking, insurance and property, all relevant areas for our industry."

Said Morgan, "Having worked in various sectors of the financial services sector, I am looking forward to using this experience to make a contribution to the FSC Board and assisting the council as it navigates a changing industry."
