Frontier hires from Mercer

Frontier has added Cecily Williams to its Sydney office as a principal consultant working mainly with insurance and superannuation investors.

Williams joins from Mercer, where she was a lead consultant and former head of retail consulting.

During her 25 years with Mercer, she worked with a number of the asset consultant's top clients in superannuation, retail and platforms, insurance, charities and endowments, and government.

Williams advised on a wide range of topics, including investment policy, operational structures, mandate and control governance, fees, and incentives.

She also mentored junior colleagues.

Before Mercer, Williams worked for ten years at NSW Treasury Corporation.

Frontier director of consulting Kim Bowater said her experience in the retail and insurance sectors is particularly valuable for the Sydney-based clients the firm is adding in these sectors.

"Cecily is an excellent appointment for us," he said.

Frontier has made two other appointments in Sydney over the last year and hopes to announce more new starters there in the coming weeks.

After adding a dozen new clients in the last twelve months, Frontier now has clients in every state and territory of Australia and New Zealand.
