Frontier bolsters real assets team

Frontier has recruited a property specialist to augment its real assets research and due diligence team.

Shrabastee Mallik arrives as a senior consultant based in Sydney.

Frontier has been steadily growing its Sydney presence with three senior appointments this year and more than a dozen new faces joining the broader consulting team in recent months.

Malliks' job in the real assets research team is to assess fund managers and investment opportunities and provide market analysis in the property sector.

In addition to undertaking asset class research and manager and product due diligence, she will also work closely with clients in supporting the construction of their investment portfolios.

Malik joins from Dexus, where she was a senior research manager.

Before that, she spent two years with Savills Australia analysing markets, employing modelling techniques, forecasting using qualitative and quantitative data sets, and preparing research reports for publication.

In 2014, she began her career at Charter Hall as a research analyst.

"Shrabastee will be a great addition to our team," said Frontier director of sector research, Paul Newfield.

"Her skills and past experience will be very relevant for our research program and our clients more broadly. In particular, her modelling and analytical skills will complement the deep market experience we already have within our property research group," he said.
