Frontier adds Consultant to Quant Solutions Group

Frontier Advisors has announced the appointment of Marcus Nelson, who joins the firm as a consultant, effective 14 March 2017.

Nelson previously spent six years at Kaiser Trading Group, an institutional hedge fund manager, where he held roles in trading, investment research and risk management. Prior to that, he spent two years with Ernst & Young.

In his new role, Nelson will work within the eight strong team that makes up Frontier's Quantitative Solutions Group and report to group head, Michael Sofer.

Commenting on the appointment, Sofer said: "We're very pleased to welcome Marcus to our specialist Quantitative Solutions Group. The work Marcus does will be a part of our broader business solutions offering, delivered both through technology and advice, to help funds look at issues beyond the investment challenge such as enterprise risk, member solutions, governance and fund analytics."
