Franklin Templeton Investments Australia (FTI) has announced that Amy Teh is one of two new appointees to the firm's distribution team in Sydney.
Teh, who joins from Colonial First State (CFS), has been appointed to the newly-created role of head of investment and consultant relations and will be responsible for managing FTI's relationships with research houses and investment consultants.
Previously, Teh was the national manager of strategy and implementation at CFS, having joined the firm in 2012. Before this, she was an investment consultant and actuarial analyst at Willis Towers Watson.
Teh will be joined by Felicity Walsh, former head of Franklin Templeton Alternatives, who has been promoted to the role of head of institutional.
Commenting on both appointments, FTI Australia managing director, Matthew Harrison, said, "Both Amy and Felicity bring a great deal of experience to our team and will play a crucial role in not only working with key client groups but also in supporting the buildout of our distribution strategy in the Australian market."
