Fortitude hires sale head from AMP Capital

Steve Mazzarelli has been appointed head of distribution at Fortitude Investment Partners, the private equity firm.

Mazzarelli joins from AMP Capital where he was most recently head of distribution, retail.

During his 16 years with the firm, he also worked as head of global investment specialists and national accounts manager.

Before that, he was a business development manager at Commonwealth Bank where he was accountable for achieving production targets in core businesses such as margin lending, protected equity portfolios, the adviser trading centre, and instalment warrants.

"Steve joins the business as Head of Distribution and will lead Fortitude's distribution operations. We are excited about the experience and knowledge that Steve will bring following his 20-year career in financial services," said a spokesperson from Fortress
