Former YBR Chief joins K2 board

K2 Asset Management has announced that former Yellow Brick Road (YBR) CEO - wealth management, Matt Lawler, has been appointed to it's board, effective 27 September 2016.

Lawler has 30 years' experience in senior leadership roles in both banking and wealth management. Prior to his time at YBR, he held senior executive positions at NAB and also MLC where he was executive general manager responsible for MLC's financial planning business.

Commenting on the appointment, K2 chair, Campbell Neal said: "Matt is an experienced executive with a strong background of making board level contributions. With deep experience in funds management, investment platforms and financial planning, Matt is ideally suited to help guide our business, particularly in the critical area of distribution. We are pleased to have attracted a director of Matt's calibre and experience and look forward to the opportunities that this presents."
