Former Suncorp CEO takes chair position

Former Suncorp CEO Michael Cameron has joined Resolution Capital as independent chair.

Cameron replaces retiring chair Bruce Coleman, who has been a director and chair of the Resolution board since 2007.

"We are delighted to attract an individual of Mr Cameron's calibre to fill this important position as we continue to grow our footprint globally in the listed real estate sector," said Sonia Luton, Resolution's managing director. "The appointment broadens the Board's skills and brings a diversity of experience."

Cameron spent more than seven years with Suncorp, serving as a non-executive director and CEO before departing in early 2019. He has significant finance experience, having served as group CFO at CBA, CFO at St.George Bank, and sat on the Treasurer's advisory council from 2011 - 2013 as a committee member.
