Former PIMCO VP joins Western Asset Management

Michael Dale has been appointed head of client servicing and marketing at Western Asset Management (Western Asset), a global fixed interest manager, and affiliate of Legg Mason with over $466b in assets under management. Dale will primarily be responsible for Australian institutional business development, working closely with the head of Australian operations, Anthony Kirkham. Dale previously spent five years at PIMCO working within the client services team and prior to that was the treasury representative, fixed income sales at Suncorp Group. He will be based in the Melbourne office.
