Former OneVue Relationship Manager appointed as MD at Style Research

Style Research, a platform for factor-based equity analytics and portfolio communications, has announced its expansion into the Asia Pacific region, with offices opening in Melbourne and Tokyo to be lead by newly-appointed managing director, Jamie Spark, effective 18 October 2017.

Spark has over 27 years' experience in financial services, previously holding leadership positions at Citigroup, RBC, Clime Investment Management and several boutique service providers. Most recently, he was the relationship manager at OneVue, a role he was appointed to in August 2015.

In welcoming Spark, Style Research CEO, Kirsten English, said: "[Jamie's appointment] is key to better serving the Asia Pacific and expanding our foothold in the region. With [his] expertise and leadership, we'll ensure that current and future clients can access our full suite of analytical solutions, and deploy new products designed for the unique challenges of the region."

Spark added: "When Kirsten approached me with an offer to join Style Research, the choice was clear. Fund managers, asset owners and investment consultants in APAC need intuitive and approachable tools to form clear insights that lead to confident decisions. I'm eager to lead the charge for the expanded team."

Spark will be based in the firm's new Melbourne office.
