Former Equip CEO joins Six Park board

Robo-advice firm, Six Park, has announced the appointment of Danielle Press to its board of directors.

Press was most recently the CEO of Myer Family Company (MFCo), a role she departed following the firm's merger with Mutual Trust in late 2017. Prior to this, she spent six years as the CEO of Equipsuper, and was previously the managing director and deputy head of Australia for UBS Global Asset Management.

In welcoming Press to Six Park, CEO Patrick Garrett said: "Danielle brings a wealth of asset management experience and judgment to Six Park's digital investment service...Danielle has a very nuanced understanding of how robo-advice complements the wealth management landscape in Australia, and her expertise brings even greater depth to our board of directors."

Press, who will be Six Park's first female director, added that she is excited to be joining the firm and that "robo-advice removes the conflict that exists in many forms of financial advice."
