Former Comm Bank Japan CEO joins AMP Capital board

AMP Capital has announced the appointment of independent board director, Debra Hazelton.

Hazelton has more than 30 years' experience in financial services across Australia and Japan, with expertise in fixed interest, treasury, institutional banking, risk management and global financial markets. Most recently she spent three years in Tokyo leading corporate culture globalisation and global talent acquisition and development for Mizuho Financial Group. She has also served as CEO of Commonwealth Bank in Japan, and as managing director & CEO of Mizuho Bank Australia.

Joining Hazelton on the AMP Capital board is newly-appointed chair John Nesbitt, who steps into the role formerly held by Vanessa Wallace.
