Former AFL player joins Pengana distribution team

Pengana Capital Group, a diversified funds manager specialising in listed equities, has announced the appointment of Broc McCauley as a business development manager (BDM), effective 5 March 2018.

Based in Melbourne, and with fellow new recruit and regional BDM Dan McAleer, McCauley will be responsible for servicing and supporting dealer groups, researchers, platforms and advisers in Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia and Tasmania.

McCauley joins Pengana from Equity and Super Private Asset Management in Melbourne, where he was an investment adviser responsible for high-net worth clients as well as managing key dealer group relationships. Previously, he worked in stockbroking and also played professional AFL football with Hawthorn and the Brisbane Lions.

Commenting on both McCauley and McAleer's appointments, Pengana's director of distribution, Damian Crowley, said: "We're very pleased to welcome such experienced relationship managers to our Distribution team. With 50 per cent of the investment market across Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia and Tasmania, our new team members will play a significant role in managing these relationships."

McCauley and McAleer replace former regional distribution manager, Guy Callaghan, who departed the firm in January 2018.
