Fixed Income Specialist named for UBS AM

UBS Asset Management Australia (UBS AM) has announced the appointment of Patrick Jung as a fixed income specialist, effective June 2017.

In this role, Jung will support the firm's communication and interaction with clients and research consultants, and will also assist the client coverage team.

He joins UBS AM after almost two years at REST Super, where he was an investment specialist involved in business development, client communications and training activities. Previously, he held an investment specialist role at NAB in Singapore.

Commenting on his appointment at UBS AM, head of fixed income specialist team, James Blair, said: "UBS Asset Management is excited to announce the high calibre appointment of Patrick Jung to our team. Patrick has over ten years of experience in the industry, and he will further strengthen our existing capabilities and extensive experience in the fixed income space."

A spokesperson for REST Super has confirmed that a search is underway for Jung's replacement.
