Fitzpatricks and Atrium hire marketing lead

Private wealth firm Fitzpatricks Group has hired a new marketing head in a bid to sharpen its strategic focus and help its partner Atrium Investment Management.

Fitzpatricks has appointed Fraser Thomson to the new role, hiring from Income Asset Management, where he also ran the marketing team.

Thomson brings a track record of success in financial advice and investment management.

He was previously head of digital and acquisition at EISS Super, the head of digital marketing at fixed income specialist FIIG and had similar roles at ANZ and MLC.

Fraser launched new investment brands and successfully delivered digital roadmaps and marketing strategies.

The appointment will support Fitzpatricks Private Wealth's goal to build a national private wealth firm in partnership with Atrium.

Moreover, Fraser will help to boost Atrium's efforts to build market awareness.

Atrium and Fitzpatricks Private Wealth - are both owned by the  Fitzpatricks Group.

While the two firms have had a longstanding partnership,  Atrium also services clients via advisers outside of the group.

Fraser has been hired by the Fitzpatricks group and will be managing the marketing for both of the group's brands.
