The Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia (ASFA) has announced that outgoing First State Super CEO, Michael Dwyer, has stepped down as a public sector representative on the ASFA board.

Dwyer's vacancy will be filled by incoming State Super CEO, Deanne Stewart.

ASFA Chair, Dr Michael Easson, acknowledged Dwyer's and fellow departee, Suzanne Holden's, "significant contributions" to the ASFA board and wished them both well for the future. He added that Dwyer had first joined the board in 2009 and had recently served as "chair of the member services committee and EPARC committee and as a member of the policy committee."

Current Link Group managing director, John McMurtrie, will fill the vacancy left by former Link Group CEO, Suzanne Holden.
