First State Super appoints new Portfolio Manager

First State Super has appointed Jacki Ellis to its investment team as the $90 billion fund's new portfolio manager for retirement strategy.

In this role, First State Super said that Ellis will be working with the wider investment team and other stakeholders on further developing the fund's investment capabilities and solutions design for retirement.

Previously, Ellis worked at Mercer, where she had a particular focus on investment strategy and retirement solutions, most recently as a principal and the Pacific director of strategic research. Prior to this, she was a senior analyst at Access Capital and started her career at the Australian Office of Financial Management.
