AWARE SUPER
Date: August 2016
Position: Acting Chief Investment Officer

First State Super has appointed Damian Graham as the $71 billion fund's acting chief investment officer (CIO), following Richard Brandweiner's decision to step down, after four years as CIO, for a leadership position at global impact investment firm, LeapFrog Investments.

Graham, who has led the investment team at StatePlus, a wholly-owned investment of First State Super, since 2012, will commence in the role on 22 August 2016.

Commenting on the appointment, fund CEO Michael Dwyer said: "I am delighted that Damian Graham has agreed to join First State Super as acting CIO while we undertake an industry-wide search for a permanent replacement. I look forward to working with Damian over the coming months as we drive our continued momentum and evolve our investment strategy."

Brandweiner will continue with the fund as an executive investment consultant until December 2016 to ensure an effective transition.
